It's the time of year for holiday styled images on your social media feeds! If you're looking to be a little festive, especially if you are a product based business, here are some quick tips for you...
1. Go holiday but stay true to your brand's overall style. When we think of the holidays, we often think of the traditional colors of red, green, blue & white, but you don't have to use these colors if they don't align with your brand's everyday look. Think outside of the box and find ways to incorporate some cheer & festive bling without veering too far off from what your brand would normally show. While we are fans of breaking the rules (future post on this topic soon!), we also see the value in brand consistency as it builds trust!
2. Appeal to your audience through the feelings that the holidays evoke in them, i.e. - feelings of warmth, generosity, nostalgia, excitement (think parties here). Two examples - If you're selling socks this may be the perfect opportunity to style them in a warm, holiday setting that gives your audience all the "cozy vibes". If you are selling lipstick, this may be the perfect time to showcase your lipsticks in traditional holiday colors, such as red, and to bring in some extra bling ( gold, sequence, etc. ) These glamorous elements all scream "holiday party" to your audience. Always remember, in your images, you are helping your audience connect to your product in an emotional way.
Hope these help & happy holidays!!
